Dr. Alsobrook has over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience. He is a proven scientific advisor, manager, and project consultant with expertise in design and oversight of genetic- and genomic-based diagnostic & pharmaceutical R&D, technical supervision, and data analysis. He has extensive industry and faculty experience, with an outstanding publication record, and is co-inventor on over 50 pending patents.
Dr. Alsobrook has managed scientist workgroups, written 3- and 5-year strategic plans for funding sources, served as liaison between corporate business units, and represented clients at FDA meetings. His expertise has been applied to a wide range of therapeutic and pre-clinical areas, including inflammation, metabolism and CNS disorders. His informatics background includes expertise with general statistical software, genetics and genomics specific software, and previous work as a programmer and database administrator.
